The river that feds the lake is unbelieveble clean! Go there and see it yourself!
This is also a good place to start your lake trip with one of the boats departing from the pier! You can choose a dinner boat as well but remember Zürich is not cheap!
If you are lucky you can see why the place got its name! The weather conditions make a lense effect and bring the Alps closer to you sou you got a great view!

Down town Zürich is a must! You can see both sides of the Limat form a higher point as well and the same aplies to the lake side!
