www.margitkert.com Traditional Hungarian dishes, try their foie gras or any of the other local favorites. Country decor, not pretentious, beautiful gypsy music every night. Close to city center, shady gardens are perfect on hot summer nights.

Caught in Varoskozpont etterem. ladies ordered meal and drinks, no menu. Bill thought to be £40 sterling, but was 102,500 forints. Only had 38,000 forints, used ATM for balance. Total rip-off. Fully enjoyed visit to Budapest. I will come back -more wiser!

I visited Budapest for 5 days ist week of December, I should have contacted you. Anyway, I enjoyed my trip specially the Thermal Baths at Gellert and Goulash!

I went to Budapest about 10 years ago. We took the train from Vienna. It was an old fashioned train. I remember in my car there was a table with a table cloth and a vase of flowers sitting on top. Very charming

Loved Budpaest when i was there. And will be back there for at least a day or so before leaving Romania.
