Restaurant Name: The Dish Café in Ballard
This place is the best! I think there's some history, about disgruntled waitresses who lost their jobs/quit a landmark Seattle restaurant, but the story's not coming to me right now. All you need to know is that the wait is long to get into this tiny place with about 15 tables, but sooo incredibly worth it! There's usually latin, island, or surf music playing. Everyone's happy to be there, despite feeling a bit too crowded. The portions are quite generous, and once they've taken you're order, the wait isn't that long.
Favorite Dish: Sausage Benedict - the best Hollandaise Sauce I've ever tasted, they accidentally put someone's Sausage Benedict down in front of me when I had ordered ham. One bite, and I refused to surrender it back. It's a very big patty sliced into two, placed over the halves of an english muffin and smothered with that creamy yumminess: Hollandaise!

Restaurant Name: Stella's
Lots of college kids, movie-goers (The Metro is next door), and groups of locals talking the night way. One of the best option for eating in Seattle at 2am. The late night menu's Gypsy Toast rivals any daytime selection in popularity.
Favorite Dish: Order the Chicken Parmiagian. And there's no question, you want the soup, not the salad. Ask for the minestrone. Dunk your bread in it and it's practically a meal in itself! Then the chicken arrives, and you wonder at the size of the bird that could have produced such a giant entree for you!!
