Okay, if you want to start your vacation off in the most relaxing way, you have to stay where I did - a B&B in Skagen, hosted by Ole Schiellerup & Per Clausen - http://www.sitecenter.dk/per/roomsforrentinskagen/ - besides the bright rooms, terrific views & friendly hosts, the breakfast is to die for! I've never lingered so long over food in the morning - and on the balcony, with a water view - simply breathtaking, the entire experience!

I don't know what it's like in other months, but when I visited Skagen in late June 2002 (during the Skagen Festival), it was still 'dusklike' at midnight - and the light during the day is the purest I've ever witnessed. I had some of the best sleeps of my life here, despite the light in the sky at all times - simply wonderful - you must experience it for yourself!
