For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move.

Hythe - Where I live!

Cinque Port

St Leonards Church, Hythe
Hythe is a small town on the south east coast of the UK. It is one of the original Cinque Ports.

I have lived here for 8 years since moving back to Kent from Bedfordshire.

As time progresses I hope to fill this section and show you what Hythe has to offer.

I chose a picture of the church as my main pic, as this is where Claire and me were married in October 2000.

Twinned...

Hythe is twinned with Berck sur Mer (France) and Poperinge (Belgium).

Over the years we have been (several times) to both places but it seems the message hasn't really permeated the minds of the French and Belgians.

Blimey, Gurka food. We ate curry when we scaled the highest peak in the Danish mountain range this summer. For 2 of our party it was to be their undoing - See my Silkeborg travelogue - Mike in "Barking Town"

Hey, I've got pictures of me and my bro on the RHD railway, scary big flares and all c.1980! Cool place. Dungeness though...maybe I needed a guide to appreciate it's beauty? He he!
