An afternoon watchng the finest players in the English Premiership beats any other afternoon activity bar none, and I mean NONE! Join 38000 others with the same passion.... and soon to be 60000 others when the new stadium is built and opening in the 2006/07 season. In 2004 Arsenal became the first club for 115 years to win the top league without losing a single game.
Equipment: No equipment needed except for a ticket to get in, and that's the hard part.

You can see football all over the world, in the UK and even in London, but you'll never see the game played as well as you will by witnessing the Arsenal. And where better to see it than the Emirates Stadium? Okay. There are a few other teams in London. You could go and be bored by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich's toy team at Chelsea, see the most expensively assembled team of misfits ever seen in the UK beat the likes Wigan 1-0 or see them whip the butts of mighty Macclesfield. They are so pathetic and boring even he hardly smiles during a game!! Or travel across north London to see the perennial failures Tottenham lose again.... or you could see the glory that is Arsenal.

beret Thu Aug 4, 2005 14:31 UTC Had a chance to take in a test match when invited by some blokes on the train. I passed. My mistake. | Mariajoy Wed Feb 2, 2005 17:35 UTC Islington is an interesting area of London. (Like Jules, I am a Spurs fan too... but I have to whisper it in this house!!) | JulesH Tue Jan 28, 2003 13:09 UTC Nice, funny page. But I must protest, as a lifelong Spurs supporter, about your choice of football team! |
