Vimy Ridge - Vimy

On a day trip to Arras to have my BMW serviced we rode up to Vmy Ridge.

Here on April 9th 1917, the Canadians attacked along a four mile front to capture this ridge from the Germans.

As well as the monument there is a small museum.
