Mackinac Island is a resort region located in the northen part of the province. The island has a population of 470, it's a quiet peaceful land with the lack of vehicles. It was a busy fur trading capital during the 18th century. Later, it was abandoned and the government preserved and reconstructured most of the buildings and made it a state park for leisure. |
