Married in the Cook Islands My fiance and I were married in the Cook Islands on September 5th. We had a fairy tale wedding on the beach in the Cook Islands.
We stayed on the main island of Rarotonga. The People are fantastic, and the scenery is truly breathtaking.
The only downfall I found were drinks and food were very expensive at the "Resorts". And too be honest the food was not the greatest at the resorts. Drinks were running an average of $12 NZ each. That of course for you're Pina Colada's etc.. Continental Breakfasts meaning: a piece of toast, some cereal and a little fruit were $18.00 NZ. It is much better to go downtown and eat. Some fabulous places to eat are Brunch Cottage, Trader Jack's, Sails, Mai Tai Cafe and the Ambrolia Cafe. |
