My big 'Germany' experience lasted 2.5 days and was spent in Berchtesgaden (on the border of Austria). We were in Salzburg and decided to visit Hitlers' Eagle's Nest ...only 20 minutes away by coach. <p>The 'Eagle's Nest' turned out to be closed (it was the middle of March), but the stay was very enjoyable and I was very glad to have gone. |
