There is a bit of rivalry going on between Glasgow and Edinburgh, and although Edinburgh might be more impressive with its castle, the Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace, I would personally still prefer Glasgow. I find the atmosphere in Glasgow is more lively and it is more of a working-class city than Edinburgh.
