AMP Building / Centre Point: A Virtual Tour of Australia in the Sydney Tower
  • Tip Rating:
  • For $22 per adult, you receive admission to a virtual tour in which you watch and listen to information about Australia's history, and are taken on a "ride" (with moving seats and all) through various parts of Australia, starting with a climb over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, a stroll on Bondi Beach, a dive in the Great Barrier Reef, a too-close for comfort encounter with the jaws of a crocodile, a view of Uluru, and many other lovely locations. The information is provided in several Asian languages as well as in English.

Also included in that price is entry to the Observation Tower from which you are able to look at the city of Sydney, and as far as the horizon (on a clear day you can see the distant Blue Mountains in the west). You have a full 360 degree view.

Darling Harbour: Chinese Gardens at Darling Harbour
  • Tip Rating:
  • The Chinese Gardens at Darling Harbour are beautiful and serene, especially when the flowers are in bloom. You forget that you are in the city because it is so peaceful.

You can dress up in Imperial Chinese costume and have your photo taken (remember the Emperor and Empress wore yellow).

You can go to the tea room and have a variety of teas.

Its true Sydney is the oldest city in Australia and first colonised by the English. I saw some of the Buildings and houses preserved to early times. Watson Bay still a place to see and the roof at Sydney Opera house incredible made of from sea shells
