"Relaxing on the Ji-Parana river" Pôrto Velho by jverstri

From Ji-Parana (south from Porto Velho), we embarked on a small fishing boat for some ten days of nature exploration along the Ji-Parana. Sleeping in hammock, fishing to prepare the dinner on the campfire, watching the tucans and ara birds, hiding for the small nasty flies, visit the meteo tower of the nature reserve, or the native settlement,... a real outdoor experience - if it were not some kind of expedition. And yes, after fishing some piranhas, we also took the challenge to find some refreshment in the river itself...
