    • Le Petit Prince is a block of appartments close to Pereybere, Grand Baie, Cap Malheureux and about 30 minutes from the capital city of Port Louis, in the north of the island.

    Unique Qualities: It has a nice pool, but is to my opinion too close to the road. Too much noise and cars passing.

    • When looking for accomodation in Mauritius, it is better to get in touch with the local people.
    Dont buy packages over the internet or at your travelagent.
    We found out that there are a lot of accomodations (especially appartments and villas (the so called pieds a l'eau - feet in the water) that can be rented at a very low price per day or per week.
    When you are 4 or more in the party, it is really cheap.
    The taxi drivers are the ones who know best.
    Our driver, who lives in Cap Malheureux, is very well informed. His name is VASSEN and you can reach him ++++7711738.
    He can get you anything

    Unique Qualities: Get away from the crowdy, posh hotels and enjoy the real life in Mauritius.

     COIN de MIRE; the food is not expectable, this is a tourist trap. Do not waist your money. All our food went back!. Even my toast was put in the microwave. If you must venture inside just have drink and admire the view.    		vasilikigr Thu Mar 27, 2008 21:14 UTC
