KY is home to the famous American sportscar - the Corvette. Lexington is the horse capital of the world and Louisville at the Ohio river is an active city whith lots of nightlive.
Vist the many national parks and forests of which " The Daniel Boone National Forest " preserves the virgin woods of the KY Highlands.
Everything in the KY country side is rather slow. Time doesn't seem to be an issue. People work hard but very layed back and without any stress. It is the place to r and r:

The famous CORVETTE sportscar is produced in Bowling Green.

I enjoyed your Kentucky page. It is a state that we have visited many times and have always enjoyed.
Enjoyed your tips on Kentucky, Johan. We used to live in Ft. Mitchell, Ky. many years ago...it was more urban than rural. You captured the rural part accurately! Regards from Texas...
Hi, I like reading your Kentucky page, since I was born and raised there.
'y'all come on back, now, ya hear!' 'Those ole Kentucky down-home pictures remind me of my trips there.' :):)
nice photos of Kentucky..especially the nature shots. I might visit Kentucky sometime this year.
Just thought I'd check in for updates and to say hi. How are things?

No wonder you like to go to Kentucky. Looks like you had a lot of fun there. Lots of nature and open spaces too. "HAPPY NEW YEAR"
55 speed limit in the area you see behind the sign?I live on a narrow 2 way lane, curvy as can be we have a 55 speed limit too. And belive me the coal trucks sure stick to it. Most people here wouldn't think of doing 45 on them. :)
