The south part of the Cape Peninsula is covered by the Cape of good hope nature reserve. It is a area in which you find lots of fauna and flora, the most southern point, the Cape of good hope and a very interesting museum. An entrance fee has to be paid but it is really worth it. Dont miss this reserve when in CT. It really is a must !!!!!!!!

By foot you can walk to the lighthouse and enjoy the view over the two oceans. Be carefull: strong winds from time to time

Nerar Simonstown is a small village called Boulder. Go to Boulders beach (indicators) and have a look at the pinguins.

The Protea is the national flower of South Africa. You will find different species in the Cape Good Hope nature reserve. These flowers are protected, so do not try to pick them. Seeds of these flowers can be found in local shops and they are not difficult to grow at home ( in a greenhouse). Do enjoy the beautiful colors
