Baton Rouge, the capital of Lousiana, is the home of Louisiana State University (
GEAUX TIGERS! ), a lot of petrochemical industry, great food, and me.
The picture above was taken at the Old Governor's Mansion, home of Huey P. Long while he was in office in Baton Rouge.
There are many beautiful places to go to in Baton Rouge, I am partial to LSU (I go there). LSU is a spacious campus and home to over 30,000 students, with lots of green space and many old oak trees all over campus. In fact, the Alma Mater of LSU begins with... "Where stately oaks and broad magnolias shade inspiring halls". But more students know the LSU Fight Song...
