We always stay at the Kai Aloha when we go to Honolulu because, for us, it's the next best thing to home. It's simple, clean, and comfortable. "Our" apartment has one double bedroom and one bath, with twin beds in the living room that double as couches during the day. It's especially good for families with children, because it has a kitchenette where you can prepare meals (thus saving money), and there's daily maid service and use of the washer and dryer on the ground floor. There's air conditioning, but we didn't always need it -- you can open the windows and let the trade winds blow through. Smaller apartments are also available for couples. Please note that the price below is per person for a family of four. The Kai Aloha is centrally located in Waikiki, half a block from the beach and the post office, and within walking distance of the International Marketplace. The Bus runs right past the door. If there's anything you need or have questions about, Miss En Chang in the front office is very accommodating and a wealth of information.
