Utrecht is a picturesque university town with winding cobblestone streets, canals, and bridges, a pleasant place to spend the day. It reminded me of Amsterdam but without the mobs and is located only half an hour from Rotterdam Centraal.
The train station is bizarrely laid out, so it took us a bit of time to find our way to the town center. Although it was a grey, rainy day, we still enjoyed walking around and seeing the sights. |
