Virginia, The Old Dominion

Virginia is a beautiful state with a generally mild climate. The Southeast is the warmest with warm water beaches. Virginia Beach is a major tourist attraction for summer vacationers. The Shenandoah Mountains to the west are spectacular for fall foliage. Camping and hiking abounds. Northern VA and Washington DC behold some of the best cultural events and free museums.
