Long time ago Pasay City used to have direct access to the Manila Bay along the famous Roxas Boulevard. Unfortunately big areas of the bay were reclaimed and were supposed to become resettlement areas. After Manila had the so called clean up of Ermita, the former tourist belt, establishments moved to Edsa in Pasay City.
