Entrance to Vila Alentejo There seemed to be "Siesta". Horse drawn car at the entrance at noon time. Temperature: 38? C |
| | Beja - Alentejo After passing the entrance a beautiful look onto vineyards and an avenue with eucalyptus trees, each one about 100 years old. |
| | Beja - Alentejo Very close to Beja City there is a huge area that has been purchased and developed by the Vila Vita Group. It looks to me like a huge hacienda with all kind of farming combined with a four star hotel accomodation and facilities.
ostriches, horses, cows, vegetables, vineyards, lakes, swimming pools, bicycles - what else could you think about.
Food was excellent and likewise the wines served during lunch and dinner.
Most fascinating were the sunsets over the Alentejo hills redesigning our hotel as a shadow giant |
