Now is the time for me to take the journey. This is the year of giving back, and I am on my way to Africa with a group of 15 other volunteers from around the country, and around the world.

Deep in my heart I always knew I would one day find my way to Africa. As I got older, my visions of Africa evolved. It’s not about comfort, safety, and luxury tours to see exotic wildlife. It will be about making a difference.

I want to make a difference. I want to care and become more aware of a world beyond my own, and share this inner compassion that moves me into action. Am I equipped to make a difference? Do I have what it takes to impart and give resources that are beyond my natural self?

The answer is waiting......

I enjoyed your Africa Page. What organization did you join up with to volunteer.? My daughter and I plan to volunteer in South Africa next year and I am currently searching for the right one. Thanks for your reasons for volunteering. Diane
