Old World Charm | What more can a "Geisha" ask for? |
This recent trip was my first time in Brugge, the charming town in northern Belgium that was known for being a former wealthy Flemish trading capital.
"Venice of the North" they have coined it.
The arrival into Brugge began with a group a friends to celebrate and have a lovely St. Valentine's dinner. First impressions of this medieval gem was how impressed I was that they were able to preserve the past with all of the well-maintained Renaissance buildings throughout the city.

|  | And they have Horse-Drawn Carriages here TOO?!! It was a treat to hear the galloping horse-drawn carriages down below from the window of our hotel room.
I couldn't wait til morning arrived so we could be whisked away on one of these!

Hi G G ,haha you had the belgian Holy water , and you drove in a beautiful Carriage ,blankets included .you had a great time in some beautiful places ,it is nice to see you liked Brugge Lori & I liked it very much as well Great Page & pic's & writing. |
