  • One can never get 'enough' shopping in Italy. Italy is a shopper's paradise! Always at the head of the fashion scene, you can surely find the swankiest looks along the streets of Piazza di Spagna. Once you climb past the crowds along the Spanish Steps, make your way through the alleys and cobblestone streets where you can find every Italian Designer shops lined up.

Keep in mind that these shops (as are most of the shops in Rome) are closed on Sundays. If you absolutely MUST burn a hole in your pocket on thy holy day, then head for the "Cinecitta Due" which is Rome's big mall. It's located near the famous "Cinecitta" area of Rome, which is home to the famous Italian cinema studios. (even during Fellini's heyday!) There are tons of shops and mallrats that hit the scene here. Ahhh....but no "Hot Dog on a Stick!"

What To Buy: When in Rome......it's the leather, lace, and scented bath oils and lotions that I fancy. Oh and the shoes? Gotta have the shoes to go with the handbag and the watch and the jeans and.............

What To Pay: A month's salary would be sufficient!
