seamandrew's Rostock Page - Rostock

I do not have much to say about Rostock aside from the following. This port city serves as a great place to take your car to many places in Northern Europe. The car ferries are great. We took the ferry from there to Gedser, Denmark and it was a great trip. It only lasted 2 hours. Aside from that, the drive upto Rostock from Berlin (where we were prior to heading for Denmark) was very beautiful. According to my wife's best friend who lives in Berlin, the Baltic Sea is a beautiful place to stay when the weather is right. Rostock is right on the Baltic Sea.

Yes, the shores of the Baltic Sea are a brilliant place to be if the weather plays nice :o)))
