| My last day at one of the schools |
Hi Well let's see. I travelled to Honduras as an AFS exchange stundent in 1992. In September of 1993 I returned there to work as I had fallen in love with Honduras and it was and still is my second home. I have many fond memories of my time spent over there and returned in 1995 pregnant with my daughter Stephanie who is now 8 years old. I still long to go back and look forward to meeting up with some of the many friends I made there one day in the future. Since completing my CELTA certificate I have taught english to two different groups of students from Japan and have really enjoyed the experience. I am also teaching another group from Japan in December for 2 weeks. I was also lucky enough to be able to go to Japan in August for 2 weeks and teach in 2 different schools over there. I had a wonderful time and am now planning to go back and take my daughter to show her what an exciting and colourful country Japan is. |
