Commodore Ballroom, the: Great Live Music Spot Commodore Ballroom, the Review

Commodore is a fabulous place to see a band play, and they usually have some amazing acts that come through there. It isn't open nightly, but they have acts through there so regularly, that it is open a good chunk of the week.

Acts such as Weezer, Ben Harper, Tom Waits, Moby, I Mother Earth, and so many more take the stage there.

Blarney Stone, the: Great party joint...just no dancing on the tables! Blarney Stone, the Review

I was a frequent flyer at the Blarney Stone (I guess if you call 5 times in a year frequent...so not so frequent). It was a great place for people that just want to go out and have mindless fun with a pint in your hand. The only beef I have with this place is the "security" staff, who are very inconsistent.

One night we were blethered and danced on the table and our bench. That time the manager came over and thanked us for creating such a great atmosphere. The next time we wanted to do that we got tossed out on our tuffs and told to never come back, even when we were complying with their "request" to get down from the table.

Oh well, if you want a good time, head to the Blarney Stone. Just don't expect to have TOO much fun:)
