Lazne Jesenik - Time to Relax!

I went to Jesenik for a bit of relaxation between moving to Czech Republic and starting work in the Czech Republic. Although it was way too short, it was a great getaway trip for anyone that lives within driving distance, or is passing through.

Nice Mountain Surroundings

The spa is located at the top of a small mountain towering over the town of Jesenik, which is located in a group of mountains by the same name - Jeseniky Mountains. Because of its surroundings, it affords you a relaxing time inside and out with full spa services inside the Priessnitz Sanatorium, and many outdoor activity possibilities outside, including hiking, biking, soccer, skiing, skating, swimming, and others.

Worth the extra mile

Jesenik is out of the way, but it is worth a visit because of the services available, plus the interesting history of the spa and its originator, Vincenz Priessnitz, who invented hydrotherapy as it is used today. There are also several natural springs from which water still flows, each having its own unique mineral makeup, and its own health benefits. There are also many different short trips to be taken in the area.
