    • I found that (espcially in Moscow) Russians seem to live two different lifes. On the one hand it's rather uncommen to say 'please', 'thank you' or 'sorry' (i could tell the russian words for it but i have NO idea how to write them...) in shops and to strangers an the the street, what made me feel uncomfortable at first. But if you get to know a Russian better, he will be really friendly, don't be afraid of some roughness at first!
    I maybe it's because of communist past that people still watch to who they talk in public.

    Some other thing. You will look much more like a Russian if you carry you're a platic bag instead of a daypack in the cities and you attract less thieves!
