I took a field trip the Uni Hohenheim, led by Dr. Iakov Kuzyakow whom I'd like to thank for a tremendous journey! Starting in Moscow, we went don't to Volgograd by train and I really recommend train travel in Russia, because of the great athmosphere with tea beeing served, people sharing Vodka and sausages while the beautiful landscape watched thorugh the windows changes slowly from hour to hour. By the way it's pretty cheap to take trains in Russia! From Volgograd (former Stalingrad) we travelled Voronezh, Kursk and Tula in three weeks, back to Moscow be 4WD busses, camping in the russian savannah and southern taiga. Then I traveled with a few friends from Moscow to St. Petersburg (former Leningrad), again by train and spend a really wonderful week there! Sunset at the Neva made me love this city and it's nightlife. It's much more my style than in Moscow, where everything seemed a bit snobbish to me. |
