The only official backpackers bar in Brisbane. It's not an especially good one (I think), but still a place to meet people.
You can get some cheap bar food there, too.

The bar of the City Backpackers hostel. Quiet good, but nothing important. Sometimes 'funny' karaoke or a few good live musicians.

Theme: Live Music

Dendy Cinema: Dendy Cinema Dendy Cinema Review

this cinema shows some independent films, often australien made. nice difference to the big cineplexes mainstreams crap. and techically they are state of the art.
