WANT TO SEE SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT?

Sure I've been to some real popular destinations in Europe, like Paris, Athens, London, Rome... and part of those pages I've already built. But I've also visited some places not many on VT has, at least judging from how few pages were built of them. So if you'd like to see something a little different, choose from the list below :)

Monasteries on the top of high hills with amazing views:
Meteora in mainland Greece.

A small town on the westcoast of Finland, on Unesco's world heritage list with its' old wooden houses:
Rauma

Bavarian village world famous for Passion Play and fresco painted houses:
Oberammergau

Under this "category" will soon be added the castles of Linderhof and Neuschwanstein in Bavaria.

TRAVELS IN FINLAND?

- We also travel regularly to Western Finland (Satakunta area near Pori) to visit my mom and
- Southern Ostrobothnia (Kauhajoki) to visit friends.

When I was a child we toured around Finland by car for several summers, I've been thinking of making some kinda retro travelogue of those childhood travels :) Just have to borrow the albums from my mom...

PLANS FOR THE END OF 2003?

We'll make a day-trip to Turku in the southwestern Finland on December 16th.

PLANS FOR 2004 - 2005?

There's two European destinations where I'd love to fly and drive, the fjords in Norway and lake area in northern Italy; from Lago di Garda to Lago Maggiore and up to Switzerland. We might go to either one in 2004 -or end up somewhere else, we'll see :)

- Friends of ours will move to Vancouver, Canada any day now for working there for 2 yrs. We're hoping to visit them in (summer) 2005.

WHO DO I TRAVEL WITH?

When I was a child mom and me travelled by the two of us and a couple of times with her sis' family. As a grownup I used to travel with my friends and sometimes even alone if I couldn't get company, until I met my fiance almost 2 yrs ago. He shares my passion of travelling and within these year and a half together, we've been abroad twice, both times in Greece as you can see from my latest travels. You can bet we'll head somewhere else next time ;) I love Greece, but there are so many other destinations where to go. Many will be new to me as well and some of them are places I love and wanna show to my loved one. And when we travel in Finland, Viivi naturally always comes with us :) Hmm... Viivi... who's she? Read further on and you'll find out ;)))

MY OWN FAVORITE PAGES?

I joined VT in April 2002. It just happened so that just a few days later I started this new relationship and didn't really have time for making many pages. Now that things have settled down and I got the time needed, I've started to build my pages a bit more "seriously".

So far my favorite pages here are:

Pori which was my hometown for 2 yrs

Not enough age for a driver's licence, but...

Here's our newest family member called Viivi. She's a Golden Retriever by breed and was born 11/02 so she just turned one year :) We go to dog shows with her and train obedience at home, in the future might join some group practising together. She's very kind in nature and loves car rides and children.
