Favorite Dish: The steaks of course! This is what they are famous for Australia-wide! Their meat pies are also the best in Queensland (maybe even Australia).

The Cosmopolitan in the Mall (Fortitude Valley). After you've had one of these breakfasts, you can't move for 2 hours! The Valley is full of great places to eat, and if you go there on a weekend during the day, the markets are on and you'll see some weird and wonderful sights!
Favorite Dish: Delicious breakfast of Bacon, Sausages, Eggs, Toast and Tomatoes, with a Coffee (Cappucino, Latte, etc) for only $ 6.50 (AUD).

Restaurant Name: Mellino's
Excellent Service, yummy breakfast and delicious coffee. Full of Italians, so their pastas (Lunch & Dinner) must be good! (We haven't been there for Lunch or Dinner yet)
Favorite Dish: Breakfast! (We go either here, or to the Cosmopolitan for breakfast while our daughter goes to Ballet on Saturday mornings). They have a 'Big Breakfast' with Eggs (scrambled, poached or fried), Huge pieces of Bacon, Sausages, Fried Tomato, Toast and Chips for $ 6.20 (AUD). I couldn't even tackle this one - Tim has it though!

While I agree with the review on the food - the service was truly appalling. A rude waitress (using the term loosely here) destroyed the enjoyment of our evening. She told us "if you don't like it, don't come back". Well, we WON'T be going back. | harmoni Tue Apr 5, 2005 16:42 UTC
