We had a Christmas Dinner Buffet here last Christmas.
The food was very good, service exceptional, and the dining room overlooked the beach and ocean.

Favorite Dish: Seafood of all kinds, meat dishes, tons of veggies for me, and a huge dessert table.

Restaurant Name: Cccafe Coco

Tucked away on the east shore, they serve delicious food. They are always serving someting different here.
Is has outside setting and the mosquitos are bad sometimes. They do have citronelle filled pots to light to keep them away.

Favorite Dish: Daily specials
I was pleasantly surprised to see that I got frequent flyer miles for eating here.

Restaurant Name: Waimea Brewing Company

If you happen to be on the west side of the island and you are thirsty, this is the place.
They serve sandwiches and beer.
There is outside setting and the view is nice.

Restaurant Name: Hanapepe Cafe

This is a vegetarian restaurant on the south of the island. We found it was a great place for lunch. They say it is even better for dinner but we never made it over there in the evening.

Restaurant Name: Papaya's Natural Foods

This is a good health food store that also serves veggie lasagna, veggie burgers, and falafels.
You order at the deli counter on the side of the store, pick up your food and take it to the tables outside.
After you finish you go back in the store and buy the food supplies that you need to take home.

Restaurant Name: Toi's Thai Kitchen

Toi's Thai Kitchen was one of our favorite places to eat while we were on Kauai.
The food was very good, the service quite friendly, and it wasn't hard to get there.
They are located in the Ele'ele Shopping Center, on the right side as you go in the parking lot.
Thee is a grocery store in the same shopping center if you need supplies.
