Cyclone Gavin passed through when we were there at about 300 kph and this was classified as only a moderate one!
No major damage to buildings but a lot of fallen trees and branches slowed traffic in Loutoka.

Those living in Lautoka must have to be prepared for almost any type of storm here--I hope they are resilient and don't see any like this again for a long time.
Is wind of 300 kph moderate there? Wow, what is the strong strong one?
Wow.. what a storm picture. Remind me of fallen trees in Taipei after a typhoon went through when I was there.
