Bistro Le Clochard: Romantic setting

This french/swiss restaurant has a very unique setting. It is located inside the Rif Fort
shopping center.
Cocktails on the terrace at sunset is a great way to begin. It is especially exciting when a large ship passes by in the harbor.
Inside you have views of the harbor lights and Punda.

This bakery was in the mall. The cheesecake, cookies, and ect all looked so good we had to buy some to take home with us.

Denny's: Breakfast anytime of day or night

We ate at Denny's on the last morning on the island. I was hungry for breakfast and we knew it would be fast.
There is a casino next door, handy for late night partiers.

Airport Hotel and Casino: Open air restaurant

This hotel/casino was very near the airport. You could see the planes take off and land from the open air restaurant.
We just stopped for a light lunch while waiting to pick up my son at the airport.

Iguana cafe: On the waterfront

We chose to eat at the Iguana Cafe because I wanted to set out near the waterfront.
The menu was mostly sanwiches with a few local dishes. Somewhat expensive for what you got.

Favorite Dish: Nothing very great here, just the atmosphere.
My husband always says that you can't eat that.

Sawasdee Thai Restaurant: Delicious soup

The food here was fantastic. Great service and relaxing atmosphere.
The only problem that we had was finding how to get into their parking lot. We must have walked a mile to get there.

Favorite Dish: The soup was outstanding. The food was all good but not Thai spicey.

Rijsttafel Indonesian Cuisine: Over 100 Wajang dolls on display

The Indonesian decor features batiks, copper pots, and wooden figurines. Over 100 Wajang dolls are on display throughout the restaurant.
The service was great and the food was delightful.
It is rather hard to find because of lack of road signs in the area.

Favorite Dish: I had the veggie platter which had several different things on it but my favorite thing was the bread spread with mango preserves.

Indi's: Indian Buffet

They offer a buffet in the evening and serve from the menu. The service was very good and so was the food.
The restaurant is on the second floor of the shopping mall but you can take the elevator to get there.

Favorite Dish: Since I do not eat meat, they fixed me a special serving of spinach and cheese that was delicious.
