This is a protected park but most of the tourists don't realize that and they have damaged the coral. Daily tours by glass-bottom boat leaves from Pigeon Point and Store Bay letting the tourists see the reef life without getting wet. You can also get off and snorkel if you like. The tour includes a swim in the Nylon Pool, a warm shallow area in the middle of the lagoon. |

Bwana_Brown Sat Sep 12, 2009 12:46 UTC Buccoo sounds like a great little place in which to wind down! Maybe it is time I too just chilled out somewhere in the Caribbean for a week or so. Those tree trunk statues at the Kimme Museum are amazing! | sourbugger Thu Nov 20, 2008 22:25 UTC all looks very wonderfull.... | matcrazy1 Sun Feb 11, 2007 07:08 UTC I am not surprised that Pigeon Point beach is the most photographed. Great shot of Mot-Mot bird and beautiful landscapes and sea views. | deecat Sun Apr 23, 2006 13:03 UTC Well, I certainly know who to ask about beach area vacations...you have the market cornered on lovely places to stay, environments for wildlife, superior places to eat, and unique places to shop. |
