Boquete

We flew from Panama City to David .There we picked up a rental car and then drove to Boquete.
The distance from Panama City to Boguete is about 480 Km.
From the city of David it is about 40 km, which takes about 30-minute by car.
Boquete is a great place for birding, walking, and its natural environment.
Beautiful flowers, coffee bushes, citrus fruits all grow in and aound the area.

Good tip about the red flowers attracting the hummingbirds. Did you ever get to see the quetzal?

I would have loved to have seen a Quetzal--this bird's feathers were used in ancient times to embellish a chief's headdress, correct?

Lovely page on a lovely exotic place. Wish I could get there. Have just looked up the quetzal - it's gorgeous, and what a good word for Scrabble too. Your cabin reminds me of the ones we stayed at in Sweden.

Coffee bushes and tour sounds very interesting for me. I like coffee but never seen its bushes.
