In search of the Dr bird

If the prospect of being off the beaten path appeals to you, then you will love it in the Whitehouse area. We were looking for a place that we could avoid the crowds and search for the national bird of Jamaica, the streamertail hummingbird.

At evening time we saw the most beautiful sunsets that I have seen anywhere.

Looks such a beautiful spot - and I love watching hummingbirds :) I enjoyed seeing De Bus too. Can't wait for our visit to Jamaica in Feb!

I could really use a trip to the Caribbean right now and this page makes me long for it. (You'd think I could get some VT pages built in the meantime!) Love the fishes woodcarving!
