Hua Hin was Thailand's first beach resort. Its rail connection to Bangkok, completed in 1911, made the 118 mile journey a seaside excursion. It is still a quiet, economical place to get away from it all. There is 5km of beaches, small shops, and International restaurants. Although there are accommodations for everyone here. Most still stay in the small inns and guesthouses west of the beach. |
