    • Luggage And Bags: Bring a bag that doesn't fall apart, otherwise the one you subsequently buy in Perth will have lots of dangly bits hanging off it that catch on everything.

    Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring summer gear with no fear - It's the benign climate that makes over a million people choose to live in this isolated spot.

    Toiletries & Medical Supplies: Suncream is number one again - it won't take long in sunny Perth to look like a lobster. Then when you eat out at night the lobsters you see in seafood eateries will remind you of it constantly.

    Photo Equipment: A camera and some film of course.

    Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: A surf board for Cottesloe is not a bad idea. Otherwise the usual cozzie / flip-flops etc.

    Miscellaneous: Shades: The sun is very bright here.
