Very beautiful country and city. Amazingly there are about 350,000 people by day and 75,000 by night, the city virtually empties at the end of the business day as employees leave for France, Belgium and Germany.
Excellent restaurants throughout the city with a variety of cuisines. Yes there is even a McDonalds, Pizza Hut and one or two other ubiquitous US chains.
At Ocean there is a small mall, theatres and a huge market with a vast array of wines and beers, it is always worth a trip.
ATM's are everywhere, including at least two at the airport.
Taxi's are incredibly expensive but driving in Luxembourg is a nightmare.
The city is divided by a gorge, on the older side it is more staid, there are nightclubs and more shopping on the east side.
It helps to have money in Luxembourg, it is not a cheap place to visit.
One last thing ... the weather is not the best, in all my trips I can only remember one day (regardless of the time of year) where it didn't rain at least a little.
