"Scotland - Home" Scotland by zizkov

Well, Scotland is home, always has been, and probably always will be. Having travelled a bit now, I'm no longer convinced it is the best place on earth, though sometimes, it could be. These pages aren't really intended to be a guide to Scotland (there are great swathes of it I have never seen), more a place to post a few pictures that won't really fit anywhere else, or where there is not enough to say to be worthwhile adding as a destination. And probably a few pointers to where I have made pages.

This first picture is Stob Dearg, in Glen Coe. I've only been up this way a couple of times although it is only a couple of hours away (a fine example of neglecting what is on your doorstep).

Glenshee

The snows in February this year (2006) at Glenshee, one of Scotlands ski areas. The road leads to Braemar, and the snow gates were closed on it until shortly before I arrived.
