Avenida Maderos.

This city located 300 kms from Mexico City, and is the Capital of the State of Michoacan. It´s a city of almost 650,000 inhabitants, and is famous for it´s Colonial heritage, mostly located in the Downtown. A beautiful city with more than 1,000 colonial buildings like the Cathedral, Convents like the San Agustin, Santa Catarina, San Francisco and La Merced, and temples like La Compañia de Jesus.

The city is the birthplace of Jose Maria Morelos who began the fight for the independence from Spain in 1810.

Palacio de Gobierno.
