Concepción is a small town of Mam ethnic group located betwen Quetzaltenango and San Martín Sacatepequez, so if you are going to Chicabal you must pass through it. If you stop here it´s a good idea to visit the interesting colonial church.

The town is located in a mountainous area, near the city of Quezaltenango, with nice views of the highlands..
