Olmec Heads and Potbellies. - La Democracia

La Democracia is a small town located south of Guatemala city, and is famous for it´s Huge Olmec Heads and Porbellies exposed in the Main Plaza. There´s also a small museum in the Plaza. The heads were gathered from the site of Monte Alto, located nearby and one of the oldest settlements in Mesoamerica.

La Democracia is a Ladino town, so is less colorful than the Guatemalan indian towns.
