Belize is a great place to get away. I was there for 2 weeks with my girlfriend. We spent most our time on an island off the coast called Ambergris Caye. The entire island is covered in resorts and caters to all tourists needs. We rented an apartment for about $35US a day and spent most our time diving and lounging. The water there is crystal clear and there are tonnes of dive trips and tours.
