If you use the so called prepaid tour guides at the Red Fort... beware, you pay twice - Once for the actual tour guide, and then once they have taken you around... they give you the speach about 'good people give things to other people'... and well 'I've done my job well, and you're a good person - so you should give me a good tip'

If you're trying to buy a... Travel agencies Review

If you're trying to buy a train ticket to get the hell out of this place...good luck! Lots of people are overly keen help you buy a ticket (at their friends travel agent shop...which is 'the booking office') DON'T fall for it. Also DON'T let the 'travel agents' tell you the trains are full for the next week (like they did to us!). In desperation we got a flight out of here 'cause just couldn't put up with all the stories.
Apparently the REAL booking office (for tourists) IS on the 1st floor in the New Delhi train station... don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
