Well I went to New Orleans with high expectations and they were met- If I was a 21 year old preachers daughter,on break from university for the first time in my life. I expected New Orleans to have old world charm but alas it was tarnished by massive commercialism at its best. I had a good time there but not really my cup of tea. This is my daughter after a heavy day of "partying". She fits right in. New Orleans does try to provide family entertainment but I found it more geared towards a younger crowd. |

Sorry you seemed to be so disappointed. We were too, but did enjoy a club or two (jazz) and had a pleasant river boat ride. Overall I'd say go for beer and beautiful masks and dolls. | zuriga Wed Jun 12, 2002 16:31 UTC
